Danny Howells, known for his unique style including eyeliner and “loud” vintage Paisley shirts, hails from England. He began performing at local clubs in the early 1980s. In 1997, Howells went on his first international tour, after which he created his debut mix album and began to produce solo.
From 1999 to 2000, Howells released a series of mix albums and continued playing regularly at clubs. In 2000, he compiled his mix album “Nubreed 002”, which consisted of funky, progressive, tech-house. And in 2001, was voted number ten of the world’s top DJs in DJ Magazine.
In 2008 he launched his own record label “Dig Deeper”, initially to showcase his own productions, but more recently featuring many new and established artists. In 2011, he released the first compilation on this imprint, entitled “Phase One”.
